The first edition of ‘CSI Radar‘ will bring together the main institutions and companies in the cybersecurity sector from June 12 to 16 at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Sevilla (FIBES), and in hybrid format.
The vital importance of email security
Pedro Álamo, Public Administration Sales Director at Proofpoint, will be in charge of talking about email as the main corporate tool to protect within business organizations. Mr. Álamo holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and has been involved in the ICT world for more than 20 years, holding different sales responsibilities in the Public Sector.
Headquartered in California, Proofpoint is a leading cybersecurity and compliance company that protects against the greatest risks, as well as the greatest assets of organizations: their workers. “With an integrated suite of cloud-centric security and compliance solutions, we are charged with helping leading organizations mitigate their most critical security and compliance risks,” Alamo says.
Proofpoint is primarily focused on solving three business problems: advanced cybersecurity threats, regulatory compliance, and brand imposter fraud (what it calls “digital risk”). These solutions work across email, social networks, mobile devices and the cloud.
Telefónica Tech, a ‘CSI Radar’ level company
In addition to the presence of Proofpoint in this first edition of ‘CSI Radar’, Telefónica Tech has already confirmed its presence. ‘CSI Radar‘ was created with the aim of giving visibility to all leading companies and multinationals, as well as universities, institutions, manufacturers and experts who are working to improve cybersecurity in companies and public administrations in Spain and around the world.
